Equinology Checklist


Please note the that these are new procedures, effective October 1, 2014.

NRC PLUS
Equinology has now approved the NRC Plus course to fulfill the nutrition requirement (EQ1400:Equine Nutrition) which is a portion of the Master Equine Body Worker Certification. Students may also apply for Equinology credit for this course even if they are not attempting the certification level. To receive Equinology credit, you must complete the NRC Plus course. Once you have successfully completed this course, pay for the externship exam within Dr. Kellon's website. Upon payment of the externship, the requirements and instructions will be emailed to you from a representative of Dr. Kellon. There will be no additional fee to Equinology. Both portions, Dr. Kellon's course and the EQ1410 Nutrition Externship must be completed for Equinology credit.

For the NRC Plus portion, the following are required:

1. Complete the NRC Plus course.
2. Pay the Equinology externship fee at http://drkellon.com/registernow.html
3. Email drkellon@gmail.com and request the Equinology Exam.
4. You will be sent instruction regarding the externship.

Neurological and Muscular Disorders (NMD)
Equinology has now approved the Neurological and Muscular Disorders (NMD) course to fulfill the neurology and muscle disorders requirement (EQ1300: Equine Neurology and Muscle Disorders) which is a portion of the Master Equine Body Worker Certification. Students may also apply for Equinology credit for this course even if they are not attempting the certification level. To receive Equinology credit, you must complete the NMD course. Once you have successfully completed this course, pay for the externship exam within Dr. Kellon's website. Upon payment of the externship, the requirements and instructions will be emailed to you from a representative of Dr. Kellon. There will be no additional fee to Equinology. Both portions, Dr. Kellon's course and the EQ1310 Neurology Externship must be completed for Equinology credit.
